Labor Law
Ms. Naimoli assisted an employer who was seeking an injunction to enjoin arbitration. The employer was accused of violating the parties’ contract and past practice. Ms. Naimoli was able to have the matter resolved with little cost to the employer, as a permanent injunction was granted.
Employment Law
Ms. Naimoli defended a client accused of assaulting his subordinate. The matter was set for trial; however, we were able to show that the allegations were unfounded, and the case ultimately settled for a nominal amount.
Corporate Law
Ms. Naimoli assisted a New Jersey employer who was accused of violating another state’s whistleblower claim. After proving that that the employee’s complaint was not only unfounded but did apply to the state of New Jersey, the claim was dismissed from the case.
Employment Law
Ms. Naimoli assisted an employer in terminating a supervisor who engaged in negligent and inappropriate behavior towards the employer’s customers and her subordinates. The supervisor’s behavior resulted in grave consequences for one of the employer’s customers. We were able to reach a settlement, protecting the employer from any claims for wrongful termination.
Employment Law
Ms. Naimoli assisted an employer in terminating an employee who was violating the employer’s leave time policies. The employee had provided a false medical result that was only discovered after a thorough analysis of the document’s origin. Without such an analysis, the employer would have never discovered the employee’s abuse of the employer’s paid leave policy.
